AlFerdous is a very special word in the Arabic language as it means "heaven". It also has particular significance to our family as it is the name of our mother, where all our love and inspiration for cooking originated.

At the soul of Arabic cuisine is generosity and hospitality, making eating more of an experience. The once nomadic lifestyle of Arabs has resulted in a combination of richly diverse dishes, incorporating the imaginative blend of herbs, spices, nuts, grains and vegetables to create intense flavours.

Our menu will bring you dishes from across the Middle East as far as Palestine, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq and the Gulf. We have lived in all of these countries and, as a result, our cooking reflects this unique journey.
